Outlaw Class
The Outlaw Class consists of back-halved cars, altered body cars, and/or those using unstreetable transmissions. A backhalved car is one that has the rear portion of the car cut out and a tubular frame installed. This allows for use of much larger tires, solid rear axles, Ford or other heavy duty rear ends, and 4-link suspension ideal for drag racing. Unstreetable transmissions basically means automatic transmissions with stalls much too high to be street driven or a manual transmission that cannot be downshifted while the car is in motion (ie: G-Force).
Enough explanation, lets get to the cars!

Info: |
Yet another car coming soon from the Flaco Racing stable. This 3rd generation looks perfectly stock on the outside but secretly stashed in the rear end is a full 4-link suspension with a trick Ford 9" rear end. The owner's goals are to keep this car completely streetable with the ability to easily swap between street and drag configurations. After talking at length with Abel and the owner, we think this car has the potential to be a definite dark horse in the Outlaw class this year. Definitely someone to look at for on the track...and the street!

Info: |
Rumor has it that PFS is building a new back-halved 3rd generation to compete this season in the Outlaw class. Peter's already posted 9 second times with his old car using the original Mazda drivetrain. With a 9" rear end, a 4-link rear suspension and air-shifted 5-speed transmission, he'll be aiming to be on top of the Outlaw class in 2000.
