Pro-Imports
The high end Pro-Import class consists of all out, tube frame cars. This is where you'll find your 7 and 8 second cars from the likes of Abel Ibarra (Flaco Racing) and Rafael Rivera (Rafaelito). These cars represent the cutting edge technology in engine tuning with 2 rotors pushing out 700-800HP to the wheels and the handful of 3-rotors with claimed power outputs of 900HP+.

	Owner: Abel "Flaco" Ibarra Class: Pro Import (USA) Car: 3rd Generation RX-7 (FD3S) Completion: Finished. Now testing Info: Abel's red R100 was one of the first rotary powered import drag cars to grab national attention in the '90s as he piloted it into the low 8s. Now he's stepping up to go even faster with his RX-7.COM sponsored chromoly tube frame RX-7. With nearly 800RWHP on tap from his 1.3L 2-rotor engine, he's already dipped into the 7s during testing and is preparing to take the 2000 season by storm. Definitely one to watch!
	Owner: "Unknown" Class: Pro Import (USA) Car: 2nd Generation RX-7 (FC3S) Completion: Early 2000 - Built by Flaco Racing Info: Flaco Racing is also building a Turbo II Pro-Import RX-7. Information about this car is top secret but Abel was kind enough to give us a sneak peak. Here's a altered spy photo for your eyes only. We're not allowed to give details but we can tell you is that this car will be a monster!
	Owner: Raul Aresse Class: Pro Import (USA) Car: 3rd Generation RX-7 (FD3S) Completion: Debuted at Moroso, Dec. 11, 1999 Info: Raul, based in Florida, has put together this beautiful tube frame, metal body RX-7. Powered by a 2-rotor 13B, they ran mid-8s on their official debut of the car. With more tuning to get use to the car and all the systems dialed in, this car will be a factor in the 2000 season.
	Owner: Unknown Class: Pro Import (USA) Car: 3rd Generation RX-7 (FD3S) Completion: Unknown Info: Currently under construction is this trick full tube frame 3rd generation RX-7. Unfortunately the owner wouldn't share too many details with us concerning the final product but they're planning on having the car finished and on the track sometime in the 2000 season. It's a full metal body car and unlike some of the other Pro Imports we've seen, this one's being built according to the NHRA Pro Stock rules.
	Owner: Nibo, Nibo Racing Class: Pro Import (PR) Car: 3rd Generation RX-7 (FD3S) Completion: Unknown Info: Nibo is the owner of the fastest streetable 8 second RX-3 in Puerto Rico. Now he's building a full tube framed RX-7 to push into the 7 second envelope. Considering his ability to take a street car into the 8's, this new car is definitely one to watch out for!
	Owner: Dennis "The Menace" Marquis Class: Pro Import (USA) Car: 3rd Generation RX-7 (FD3S) Completion: Complete. Now Testing Info: Dennis will be campaigning this incredible bright yellow Pro-Import RX-7. Powered by a 3-rotor 20B engine with an estimated 1000HP, Dennis is looking to "Dominate the Pro Stock Import class and to be the fastest import in the WORLD!". Right now the fastest imports are running mid 7 second quarter miles at over 170mph. We wish all the luck to Dennis and his crew on putting a rotary on the top of the fastest import list!
	Owner: Flauta Racing Class: Pro Import (USA) Car: 2nd Generation RX-7 (FC3S) Completion: 2000 Season Info: Flauta current campaigns their 10 second rotary powered Starlet and is building this 2nd generation, full tube frame car to compete in the Pro Import class. This car uses a full metal body with chromoly tubes and should put on quite a show.
