The
first Turbo rotary to be offered in America, the Turbo
II is a powerful, well-balanced car. Mazda was overly
cautious with the Turbo II though, as to not blemish the
rotaries reputation for reliability. The cars were tuned
for very low boost and quick response which works well
but leaves plenty of room for improvement.
The stock turbo on the Turbo II has many limits if you
are striving for maximum power. To help you get the power
you are striving for we offer the GReddy Turbocharger
Upgrade Kit which completely replaces the stock turbo
and manifold with superior components. This turbo is good
for 400-450 HP depending on vehicle configuration and
still has good boost response.
Note: This systems were designed to upgrade the Turbo
II RX-7, not to install a turbocharger on a Non-Turbo
model.
